Most of us relate allergy season with spring/summertime. But people suffer year round especially when those who are hypersensitive to specific foods cannot avoid them.
The most common allergies are:
- Milk
- Wheat
- Fish
- and Nuts.
However, new food reactions are "sprouting" up daily. From carrots, to apples Epi-pens are being dispensed for more then just the common sensitivity.
Do you avoid your trigger like the Plague?
Are you allergic to something and avoid it like the plague? Yet for some reason you eat certain foods and find you have the same reaction. The table below will help you figure out why.
| Allergen | Found in |
| Milk | Deli slicer used to cut cheese |
| Eggs | Desserts, egg substitutes, processed cooked pasta |
| Soy | Most Processed foods |
| Wheat | Hot dogs and Man-made meat products |
| Peanuts | Candies and Asian foods |
| Fish/Shellfish | Caesar Salad Dressing |
Wait there's more...
<-- Check out this book for more info on Alternative ways to get better WITHOUT using prescriptions!! Most grocery stores and meat packaging plants take extreme care when preparing their foods, but accidents do happen. The above table is just to help you when out at the store or looking at packaged foods to be more aware. The bottom line is that more sufferers are coming forward. No longer are people suffering from the regular "Trees are pollinating" or "grass cutting stuff". Fruits are also jumping on the "Don't eat me 'cause you'll get sick" band wagon.
Environmental sufferers triggers could come from the simple fact that the neighbors use pesticides on the grass. The bottom line is that not all allergies come from the direct product of eating or being around a certain product.
This does not mean ignore your allergy or your medications or Doctor recommendations. This is primary to give you the idea of looking at other factors to alleviate some of the symptoms.
Always, always take and use your medicine everywhere that you have to.
