The Canada Food Guide for Men has been broken down into healthy and easy to follow allotments. Making the transition to a healthier lifestyle is no walk in the park and for some reason; men seem to struggle with this more.

Maybe it is because there is no beer allowed or because they have to eat more “girly” food such as salad, but men of the Baby Boomer generation like their cake and want to eat it too.

Being raised anywhere from the ‘40’s to the ‘60’s most men where expected to work the farm. These men where bred for hard work and dinner was the largest meal consisting of heavy carbs and meat. Which is fine if your working the fields but few men are anymore.

Men of today are dealing with high stress executive positions and less and less are following the family line of farming. Along side the high stress executive positions are business meetings, partners to satisfy, and the boss breathing down their neck.

Many men find themselves stuck in the day to day grind that leaves them exhausted at the end of the day and with less time for a healthy lifestyle let alone an opportunity to follow the Canada Food Guide.

For the men wanting to use the food guide I have broken it into an easy to follow menu plan.
