Cranberries: The Real StoryQ. Do Cranberries help for Urinary Infections?
Today's juices are packed with sugars and preservatives. Few of us know what those preservatives are or what they do, but anything that can sit on a shelf for two weeks then another two after it's been opened is not good for your body.
Why? With all the extra preservatives and sugars that are in the beverage, by the time the body breaks down all the extras to properly use and transport the nutrients there is little if any usable cranberry nutrients left. Never mind the toxins that are left in the system floating around to cling to the next toxin or virus.
The Bottom of the "Cranberry" Line..Eating 1 cup of Cranberries although expensive at first, is cheaper and will do more for your body than drinking that almost as expensive 2L of juice and will cleanse your system faster. Spending $7.00 for a 1 pound bag of cranberries is a lot cheaper and better for your body with faster results, than spending $10.00 on multiple sugar packed juices is on your wallet. Word of caution - Cranberries have pits in them so don't be surprised when you wash them and go to eat them. So if you prefer to not eat the pit (which you shouldn't ingest the pit), pull off the top and squeeze the pit out.
