Fiber can be found and eaten in many different ways. From fruits to vegetables it is readily available.
It also has many many benefits. From potentially lowering Cholesterol to alleviating constipation, eating one simple apple can take care of it.
For best possible absorbption, eat fruit and vegetables with the skin on as often as possible. This would include both potatoes and apples.
But really what does it do?
This nutrient actually does a multitude of things. From assisting the body with softening stools making bowel movements easier, to absorbing additional liquids in the body while ill why wouldn't you use it?This simple little nutrient can also work with your body while you are working on a diet. Also very filling, eating fiber can leave you with a happy "full" feeling after eating while not requiring to continuously eat.
It is also low in calories which is why it is so essential for a well balanced meal plan.
Where can I get it in?
This can be found almost anywhere. High fruit and vegetables would include pears, berries, apples, corn, peas and potatoes.Using whole grain breads that have high content is best as well. This can easily be added to breakfast cereals or in place of bread crumbs for dinners.
Do not go overboard with it! It can lead to excessive bloating and cramping and very bad constipation.
