From Junk Food to Fun Food What are We Eating?Junk food has become a pillar in modern society. It offers a quick fill, fast service, or you can bring it home to watch a movie with. From chips, pop, ice cream it goes on and on. There is no nutritional value in any of it. Even the canned produce should be considered junk food. Preservatives are jamming the tops of these containers of fruits in order for them to remain edible for months and months. You can forget it in the cupboard and still eat it 10 months later. Fruit has one expiry date. And that is when it begins to over ripe while in your fridge or on the counter. The same goes for other forms of overly modified food. When it has sodium levels that are over 500 mg then that is an alarm bell waiting to happen. Or sugars that are stating 26 g. These are much to high for your body and eventually it becomes fat deposits stored in selective places around your body, like the tire for a tummy, saddlebags and other wonderful spots your body can find. Prepackaged food is here to stay. But please consider all additives and preservatives that it contains.Candy, canned food, convenience food, dehydrated food, all quick and easy but what is really in it?
