Lamb is the single most healthy protein for you.

Being that all meat have fat included in them isn't just a singular issue. Most animal meats have fat laced throughout the entire portion, whereas Lamb does not have this circumstance.

This protein is so young when it is prepared for human consumption, that it does not have time to build fat around the muscle which is why the fat is not contained throughout the meat. Thus when preparing it for a meal, you can simply slice off the fat and not have to worry about the additional fats increasing cholesterol levels.

Can my kids eat it?

Since Lamb has been associated with almost no allergies, this is one of the few meats that can be eaten by people of almost all ages. Conjugated linoleic acid is also present in this meat.

That means it will also be a source of good fats which increase HDL cholesterol levels instead of increasing them. Find out more about your cholesterol levels here.

If you can put aside the fact that it is a baby animal that you are about to eat, which if you eat eggs shouldn't be a problem, then you are well on your way to a healthier lifestyle.
