An Orange to eat or Juice to drink?Oranges are a fantastic treat. You can add them to any Spinach Salad, or turn any plain Yogurt into a delicious treat for anyone. When it comes to this fruit, many believe that it is the be-all-end-all for the hangover cure. Although very high in Vitamin C, few people actually eat the fruit. Many turn to the Juices in a container. If you are one of these people, buyer be ware. The juice is often higher in concentrated sugars which the body has difficulty breaking down thus not really working for your hang over. Make the choice to juice your own or eat the whole thing! Strawberries are what I recommend most for the "Hang over Blues". Why? Because they have the highest Vitamin C of any berry and they are also so easy to eat. When it comes to this tasty fruit, eating the white outer layer is extremely beneficial. That's because it is very high in pectin and Fiber. This makes it a fruit to eat to balance blood sugar levels for a Diabetic, and also for those suffering with Cholesterol imbalances. Any way you slice it... An Orange is..by far one of the most nutritional. The pulp on the peel is edible (just like an apple). Although most of us don't consider it, the pectin that is in the outer casing of an orange is just as good for you as the stuff on the inside. Try and eat it like an apple.. I'd love to hear your thoughts! I personally love the "white stuff" on the inside of an orange!
