Radishes: Why The do More then Add Color to Your Meals!> Radishes are a very old vegetable. They are easy to grow in the garden, but did you know that the whole vegetable is usable? The root of this piece of produce is what is now commonly found on salads. However, the actual leaves are used for medicinal purposes. Bare in mind that this vegetable is also a blood thinner. Eating this while taking blood-thinning medications should be avoided. It can also be used as a diuretic. **Using food to alleviate constipation is better for your body then taking a laxative. Although both heed dramatic and mirror results, your body will convert any remaining nutrients from food into usable resources. Another thought to remember is that when eating this veggie, remember that they have been known to aggravate ulcers. If you have active ulcers, it is wise to avoid these until they are no longer flaring up. Eat these to fight bacteria and fungal infections. Remember that your body will transport everything it needs to the right spots. It can also help clear blocked sinuses, and acts as an antibiotic.
Radishes and Heart Attackson foods from the garden. After hearing what his doctors had to say, I have concluded (in my 100% not-a-doctor way) that it is likely that the radish eating saved his life. I say this because of the amount of plaque that surrounded his heart and arteries, he should have died. But he lived to have triple bypass surgery.
