Raising Healthy PetsWhen it comes to raising healthy pets, we all do what we can. The Dog gets walked to school etc, and the kitty has it's toys. But what about what their eating? There is apparently an old rule of thumb when it comes to commercial pet food. If You've never heard of it buy it. Your probably asking "How would I know that it's the best one for my kitty?" And how will you know that it's the best one for Your Pet. My friend Lynette is one of the smartest women I know. When it comes to her puppies they are her life. She makes adjustments to her schedule like you and me do for our children for her dogs. One day she was here on a visit and we started talking about cat food and what was best for pets to eat. She told me to look at the ingredients of my cats food, and when I did, I have never been so grossed out in my life. Since when did cats need to eat "Animal Digest" and grain? She gave me this advice when searching for the best pet food for my little kitty... If you've never heard of it, it's the one to buy. This made zero sense to me. How can I know that it's the one that will help increase her lifespan and make her one healthy kitty? How can I make sure that it won't effect her lifestyle and cost me thousands in health bills? And how will I know...that what I'm feeding her won't kill her... If You've Never Heard of it, it's the one to buy? When my friend first told me this, I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I'd heard. How can I trust something I'd never heard of? And how do I know it won't hurt her. Pet Food for thought? The main reason is tihs: A food that is healthy for your pet is the one that doesn't need promotion. Think about it. When was the last time you actually looked at what was in that food? I mean really looked at it? I started looking before I bought and this is what I found in my cat's Commercial Pet Food |
One of the biggest problems we are all facing is the increase in the cost of everything and the incease in the pay wages of no one. I spent $43 on 3 boxes of cereal, a treat for each me and my boys, parmesaen cheese, and a 12 pack of eggs yesterday. Now that's almost 1/2 of my weekly grocery money. $43!!!! Now that is pretty unbelieveable. Everyone is scared. But we gotta eat right? Check out our Cheap Food Check List and get some great tips on how to save money on your grocery bill and still eat right in a Recession. One of the best investments you can make now is tupperware. This is going to save you money in the long run.. You wouldn't let cold air leak into your house in window because of bad windows.. No, you'd get your windows replaced to save on your heating bill..
