Fresh Water Fish. Salmon. The boats have to ship them in… Into the net and down the bottom of the boat.

What is the first thing that fresh fish touches when it gets in the bottom of the boat? Ice.

Fisherman boats can be out to sea for day’s even weeks on end. So if you get fish that has been fresh, then frozen, then thawed, then sat on ice until you bought it, chances are that you have lost a significant amount of the Omega 3 Fatty Acids that are found in this food.

BEST buy?

Frozen. If it goes onto the boat live and comes off frozen, find a market place or grocery that sells it frozen. This supports your local fisherman and gives you the best tasting fish there is. Nutrients and all.

So if one day you are looking to eat a yummy Salmon Dinner come here before you head off to the grocery store, remember that frozen does not include the frozen box section!_uacct = "UA-1453560-1"; urchinTracker();
