Use as a side dish, or as a WHOLE Meal!Adding this Strawberry Spinach Salad to your meal not only enhances the meal due the to the taste but also ensures meeting almost 1/2 of your daily Fruit and Vegetable allotment for the Canada Health Food Guide. This appetizer can fill you up for a lunch meal or for a extra for dinner. And by adding a few nuts makes for a small Protein as well.
This is what You'll need to make our Delicious Spinach Salad!
Clean fresh Spinach 1 cup of Strawberries 1/4 cup of mixed sesame seeds and almonds 1.5 tsp dressing
The Directions!By adding the fruit to the salad, you can easily consume half of the daily requirements to eat a healthy meal plan. This whole salad offers 4 yes 4! servings of fruits and vegetables. The dressing I used was a Balsamic Vinagerette that was low in fat and High in Omega 3 Fatty Acid. The nuts I used was just a little mixture that was readily available! Put in a bowl and stir, mix, enjoy!! The salad was very filling and having both the fruits and dressing together offered a little to all taste buds for the sweet and the sour. It took approximately 5 minutes to prepare and when I had finished eating, I did not feel like I had gorged to get this very full feeling! What did I do with the rest of the spinach? I saved it for another meal. Not to be used as a salad, but to add to a chicken stir fry!
