The Wonderful Taste of Strawberries!

>

Strawberries are an expensive fruit that most of us overlook mainly because of cost. Typically high in price they also ripen very quickly.

A great summertime fruit, they are also high in Vitamin C, and potassium. Being as most people will eat oranges or guzzle juice to cure the hang over blues, how much does it really do?

Well not as much as Strawberries that's for sure! Yes oranges are high in Vitamin C, however the juice does not give the same effects.

It often takes longer to recover from the hang over then if you were to eat for example a cup or two of this delicious berry! This makes them great for a hang over, and leg cramps!

The absolute cheapest way to buy these fruits is directly from a farmers market or corner stand. This is where they are the cheapest and more commonly most recently picked.

When buying from the grocery store, purchase the organic berries. They are higher in cost, however are much larger in size and lower in carrying pesticides.

Any way you slice it... Strawberries

are an amazing fruit. I will usually buy a few containers of these and freeze them. That makes them wonderfully accessible in the middle of winter when of all things, they are just not for sale!

And why would you want to buy a bag from the store when you can save a few dollars and make your own frozen fresh strawberries!
