Lemons: For a Juice and in a Soup!

Lemons: For a Juice and in a Soup!

Lemon is one of the cheapest citrus fruits you can buy. It serves multiple uses for you, your food and your family. A nice little squeeze can do the job for someone's water, but ever wonder what it would taste like in a soup?

I think you will be surprised to learn that you can "squeeze" a lot more taste into the best tasting sauces out there by adding a little something no one would ever expect.

Imagine 'Ol Granny trying to figure just what you did to alter her family recipe?! Using one citrus fruit can alter the way an entire meal tastes. When making my favorite soup, I use two or three whole fruits to get the desired taste.

These actually are better for you than you may think. The citrus properties in them are going to help you get over that cold or flu faster than a few oranges or a cup or two of juice.

Straight Up, Lemons are a great source of Vitamin C

That's because they could be apart of the citrus family. And other fruits that included in that family are oranges, and limes. They do so much for your body that although you may cring a little at first by the first taste of it, you will soon realize that your body feels better.

And because lemons are such a diverse fruit, they can be added to almost anything and barely be noticed! I've added them to my soup recipes as well as rice when I'm cooking!
