  Aug 30, 2009 Rating Hi Helene! by: Celeste Yes My Maman was french! Hmmm never heard that about the whole wheat. When I make it I don't use half the flour and it still tastes fantastic. I don't notice a difference in it being heavier either. Thanks for dropping by and please come back and let us know how you felt about it!   Aug 30, 2009 Rating need more info by: Helene I always read that when making bread you can only use half the amount of required flour in whole wheat or it will be heavy as a brick. Please let me know before I attemp a whole wheat version. Your maman was french? Would explain why it was so good.
